    Massachusetts woman charged with arson in Maynard

    MAYNARD, Mass. (WWLP) – A woman was arrested for allegedly setting a house on fire in Maynard that caused injury to a firefighter.

    According to a news release from Maynard Fire Chief Angela Lawless, on June 5th around 11:55 p.m. firefighters were called to a house fire on 1 Little Road that was not occupied at the time. Crews from Stow, Acton, Sudbury, and Hudson Police Departments assisted. One firefighter suffered minor injuries.

    During the investigation, Maynard Police and Fire, assisted by regional mutual investigators and the State Fire Marshal’s Office, identified a suspect in connection with arson. An arrest warrant was issued for 26-year-old Anabelle Dentino of Maynard. She was arrested on Tuesday and charged with arson of dwelling house and causing injury to a firefighter.

    Dentino is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on August 5.
