(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A routine street check escalated into a pursuit ending in the arrest of a Jamestown resident with outstanding warrants. On June 29, 2024, at approximately 4:54 PM, officers from the 2nd platoon observed Marcelino S. Hernandez, a 42-year-old resident of Jamestown, operating a bicycle on the sidewalk near E 3rd St and N Main St. Recognizing Hernandez and aware of his outstanding warrants, the officers initiated a vehicle and traffic stop using emergency lights and sirens.
