Hartford Union High School student wins $10,000 in ScienceSaves’ video scholarship contest
Hartford, WI – A student from Hartford Union High School won $10,000 in a ScienceSaves 2024 video scholarship contest. Isabelle Haeft from Hartford, Wisconsin submitted a video describing how an innovative transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedure that was approved by the FDA in 2019 saved her grandfather’s life. It will save many more lives in the years to come. As the first-place winner, Haeft received a $10,000 scholarship.
