Meth Dealer Sentenced in Grundy Co.
A 46-year-old Morris man was sentenced in a Grundy County meth dealing case on Wednesday. Edward Orlich pled guilty to the unlawful delivery of less than five grams of meth, a class two felony and was sentenced to four years of probation. As part of the plea agreement, the charge of possession of less than five grams of meth, a class three felony was dropped.

The Channahon Fire Department announced that Smoke Testing for the Village started on Thursday and will continue, weather permitting, until Friday, August 16th. Crews will notify Police and Fire daily of the streets being tested. Some of the areas being tested include South Ridge Road, Keating Boulevard, Three Gables Drive, South Rivers Plaza Drive, South Sara Court, South High Ridge Drive and others.
