Fiesta Topeka celebrates its last day in style
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The 91st Fiesta Topeka has come to a close after a five-day run. The celebration was stationed at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. “We thank Topeka from the bottom of our hearts for once again supporting us for the 91st year,” said Marisol Marcelo, the publicity chair of Fiesta Topeka. “It’s about our culture, our food, our traditions, and this year like every other year we were able to portray that to the public, and the public was able to come and experience it all.”
Seeking Ideas For Downtown Space Uilization
The public is invited to attend an open house to provide input to assist in development of a long-term plan for space utilization in the downtown area. According to the City of Salina, this will be an important component in determining and designing Saline County and City of Salina space utilization needs in the future. Both the City of Salina and Saline County are jointly participating in this analysis.
