Suspect in custody after shooting in Salina, deputies say
Salina, N.Y. — The suspect in a shooting was arrested Sunday after leading police on a foot chase in Salina, deputies said. Around 7:45 p.m., a 911 caller reported they were shot at on Noble Avenue in Salina, according to 911 dispatch reports. Dispatchers told police the shooter took off running on Taft Avenue.

The Syracuse Mets lost five of six games in their series this past week. Despite the results of the games, Brett Baty had a really positive week. He led the team in hits, home runs, RBIs, doubles, and runs scored. Overall, he went 7-for-22 with two homers, five RBIs, two doubles, five runs, and he also walked four times and stole a base.
