McCurtain council member to be appointed
The Town of McCurtain will be appointing a new council member to fill a vacancy on the town board. The requirements for the position include: Must be a resident within the city limits for six months and a registered voter in good standing for six months. Individuals interested in being considered for the position are asked to stop by City Hall and place their names on a list. The person chosen to serve on the board will replace Mark Culwell, who recently resigned, according to a representative for the town. The person appointed will be asked to complete the term, which will end in April 2025.
