Events of all kinds have taken place under the arch of the 1,600-ton concrete roof in the Camp Randall Sports Center over the last 68 years. There have been college and high school track meets and a long-running college wrestling meet. The University of Wisconsin football team once held practices inside, as did the school's baseball and softball teams.
