3M and Discovery Education announced the top 10 finalists for the 2024 3M Young Scientist Challenge, including a student from Frisco ISD. The UIL finalized the final Lone Star Cup standings for the 2023-24 school year on Monday, and several area high schools ranked among the best in the state. After back-to-back years as the runner-up in Class 5A, Lovejoy parlayed a resounding athletics year into taking the classification's top spot, with Frisco Wakeland checking in at third overall.
