West Virginia – A tragic incident occurred at Daytona Beach this week when a resident from West Virginia drowned after being swept away by a rip current. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a 43-year-old man lost his life in Florida on Wednesday due to this hazardous ocean phenomenon.
