West Virginia Mine Wars Museum will be hosting community archiving events across southern West Virginia next month. United Way Fundraiser Proves a Hit as Event Raises More than $23,000 at Bridgeport Country Club
The United Way of Harrison and Doddridge Counties first-ever Birdie Bash Marathon Fundraiser event at the Bridgeport Country Club proved to be a hit. According to Brad Riffee, the executive director of the local United Way, more than $23,000 was raised in the unique event. The fundraiser took place Tuesday, July 23, beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until 8 p.m.
Randolph County man arrested for reporting false emergency
ELKINS, W.Va (WDTV) - A Randolph County man has been arrested for reporting a false emergency to the Randolph County emergency officials.
