The University of Maine at Augusta is launching Maine's first aviation maintenance technician program, based at the Brunswick Landing aviation campus. The university heard from businesses in the aviation industry that there is a serious lack of technicians to hire, said program director Daniel Leclair. MAINE, USA — According to a federal report by the Department of Justice, Maine is lacking in community-based programs that address mental health problems in youth. In response to that report, the behavioral health nonprofit Sweetser launched the Child ACT Program earlier this year.
