Inmate Killed by Cellmate in Pennsylvania State Prison
An inmate was killed by his cellmate at the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, as confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Police on Tuesday night. The deceased, 57-year-old Kevin Beattie from Philadelphia, who had also been known as Kevin Williams and Bernard Grover, was found unresponsive in his cell on July 2, 2024. He had been serving a 22-to-55-year sentence for burglary since February 3, 2023.
