Women from Massachusetts, New Jersey killed in Southern Maryland crash
Two women died Wednesday afternoon in a crash in Charles County, according to Maryland State Police. Norma Matthews, 81, of Lowell, Massachusetts, and Virginia Licata, 86, of Blackwood, New Jersey, died as a result of a crash around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 301 at Popes Creek Road in Faulkner.
