Brookline PD arrest suspect in open & gross lewdness investigation
BROOKLINE, MASS. (WHDH) - On Sunday Brookline police arrested Darryl Breen, 68, in connection with an open and gross lewdness investigation from a June incident. The suspect, believed to be Breen, was captured on surveillance footage in relation to the incident, which occurred on June 22. Cameras also captured images of a vehicle involved in the incident, which a patrol officer saw and identified as the vehicle of interest on Sunday.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Massachusetts Book Awards, the Mass Center for the Book (MCB) is pleased to announce the expansion of the awards program with two new categories—a biannual award for the best graphic novel or memoir from a Massachusetts-based creator and a “Notable Contribution to Publishing” award in recognition of the exceptional output of the state’s publishing community. Submissions will be accepted from September 3 through December 15, 2024.
