“Early Tuesday morning, just after midnight, Trooper Kevin Trainor, who is assigned to the State Police Danvers Barracks, was patrolling Route 1 in Saugus when he observed a Toyota Rav 4 travelling ahead of him with no taillights illuminated. Investigators have recovered evidence indicating multiple shots were fired near St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 233 Harvard St., in The Port neighborhood of Cambridge. ShotSpotter technology heard three rounds fired at around 8:30 p.m., while a caller said they heard four or five shots fired at Sennott Park, according to scanner reports. The park is behind the church; in addition to shells found by police, an officer soon found a park garbage can that looked like it had been hit by gunfire.

Harvard Men's Swimming and Diving has unveiled its schedule for the 2024-25 season, aiming to maintain its status as Ivy League champions with a challenging, road-focused agenda.
