‘They Look Down on Us!’ Harris Faulkner Accuses Kamala Harris of Putting on a ‘Fake’ Southern Accent at Georgia Rally

Fox News’ Harris Faulkner accused Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris of condescendingly faking a southern accent on Monday.

After playing a clip of Harris telling a crowd in Atlanta “You all helped us win in 2020, and we gon’ do it again in 2024!” last week , Faulkner mused “Aw, bless her heart — I was born in Georgia. Good Lord, what is she doing?” and introduced Outkick’s Clay Travis .

“First, let’s have some fun with that accent. I live in Tennessee right now, Harris, I’ve lived in the south my entire life,” began Travis. “Why do people feel compelled, particularly politicians, to come to the south and try to pretend that they’re actually southern? I don’t understand it at all.”

“Cause they look down on us!” answered Faulkner.

“I think that’s probably somewhat accurate. But, you know, nobody else’s accent is mocked and ridiculed In a similar fashion. You go to the midwest and you go to the northeast, so Southerners see through that,” submitted Travis.

He continued:

And by the way, it’s not just Kamala Harris. We recently had LSU hired a new football coach, Brian Kelly , and he showed up and suddenly turned into, like he was, you know, been living in the South since, for the last 60 years. So anyway, we see through that. I think what it reflects is no one knows what Kamala Harris really believes. And that’s a major issue here. As we sit, she’s now been the default nominee for 15 days. They haven’t let her off a teleprompter. She hasn’t done an interview. She hasn’t engaged with voters out on the campaign trail. Looking down at the corner right there, the stock market’s down almost a thousand points today. What is Kamala Harris’s economic policy? Biden tried to take credit for Bidenonmics, obviously Kamala Harris a part of that. If you want to talk about weird, I think running for president without any actual core beliefs is super weird.
