Former President Donald Trump touted a successful night of endorsements on Tuesday — claiming he went “24 for 24” in a series of primary races across Missouri, Washington and Michigan. But the former president failed to note that in several of the races, he hedged his bets by endorsing multiple candidates .

In a post on Truth Social , the former president took a victory lap for his alleged prognostication prowess — including a claim that he backed several “long shots.”

“A BIG NIGHT IN AMERICA,” Trump wrote. “I was 24 for 24 in Endorsements, with numerous candidates that won being long shots. Very happy! Congratulations to All, do a great job for America!”

Only, Trump had several horses in a number of the races . In Washington’s fourth congressional district, Trump tried to take out a more moderate congressman, Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA), by endorsing Jerrod Sessler — a former NASCAR driver. But just two days before the vote, he added a second endorsement in the same race for Tiffany Smiley . Turns out Trump needn’t have hedged in that one — as Sessler and Newhouse appear poised to advance to the general election, although the race hasn’t yet been called.

Trump pulled off the same move in the Missouri attorney general race — backing both incumbent Andrew Bailey , and challenger Will Scharf . Bailey was declared the winner early in the evening, with vote totals showing him on top by 26 percent in what was a blowout win.

And in a move akin to placing roulette wagers not only on black and red, but on 0 and 00 as well, Trump actually picked all three of the top candidates in the Missouri governor’s race. Trump threw his support to Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe , Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft and state Sen. Bill Eigel in a Truth Social post last week .

“Choose any one of them,” Trump wrote. “You can’t go wrong!”
