NASCAR driver Layne Riggs celebrated a recent win so enthusiastically that he literally threw his shoulder out and needed help putting it back in place.

On Sunday, Riggs secured his first career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory at the Milwaukee Mile. After the win, he got out of his truck and climbed on the roof. There, he began pumping his fist in the air with so much force that his shoulder popped out of place.

Riggs immediately reacted to the pain and pulled his arm down. With his other, he propped up the injured arm to wave to the crowd before attempting to jump down his truck.

Moments later, Riggs was seen surrounded by crew members. One held his arm while Riggs moved around to set it back. Seconds after most of the pain seemingly went away, he was jumping around in celebration again.

During his post-race interview, Riggs acknowledged that it “hurt like a mug” and revealed he’s done it before.

“I dislocated my shoulder, I was celebrating so hard,” Riggs said. “It hurts like a mug, but it was worth it. It’s not the first time it’s happened to me, but it ain’t gonna slow me down!”
