Burlington Man Sentenced 20 Years For Role In Meth Conspiracy
A Burlington man was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in federal prison for his role in a conspiracy to distribute meth as well as unlawful possession of firearms. According to court documents, 44-year-old Jimmie Willis, along with others, conspired to bring over 400 pounds of methamphetamine to Burlington. In relation to his drug trafficking activities, Willis also possessed numerous firearms unlawfully. After his term of imprisonment, he will be required to serve five years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
