Rounds of thunderstorms moving across the Northwest may trigger a dry lightning outbreak across parts of Oregon, California and Nevada, which could quickly spark fires in those regions recently facing record-breaking temperatures and dry conditions.

Presented by Delta Air Lines, RAVE’s Born in ‘74 Gala was held on Thursday, July 18 at the Providence Swedish Performance Center & Clubhouse in Renton, with more than 600 guests in attendance. At this year’s Gala, RAVE Foundation announced its intention to double the initial goal of building 26 soccer mini-fields to 52 total fields, with the target date of completion in time for FIFA World Cup 2026™.

TWISP, Wash. — Level 1 (Be Ready) evacuations have been ordered due to a fire burning near State Route 20. The fire was reported to firefighters around 1 p.m. and is currently active in the vicinity of State Route 20. Evacuation orders are in effect for the area east of Upper Beaver Creek, Frazer Crossing Road and Twisp. The fire called the Frazier Fire is estimated to be 175 acres and has a dozer line around it.
