Driver who allegedly hit and injured 7 Spokane police officers identified
SPOKANE, Wash. – 7 Spokane police officers and one K9 who police have now identified. Keiana M. Henry, 21, was driving more than twice the posted 25 mph speed limit when she hit an armored SPD car on Friday near North Oak Street and West Carlisle Avenue.Henry was booked into jail on charges of vehicular assault and attempting to elude a police vehicle with additional charges pending. The two passengers with Henry were not booked into jail.All seven police officers and the K9 are recovering from the incident and are expected to make a full recovery.Henry is scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon, and additional information about this case will be updated.

David Greig, the track and field coach for ParaSport Spokane, their sponsoring organization, says 31-year-old sprinter Taylor Swanson will participate in three events in Paris, the 100 and 200-meter dashes and an event called a universal relay, in which four participants run 100 meters. Gator on the loose in Washington!
Quite the incident happened near the 9400 block of Ray Grade Rd. in Snohomish County over the weekend. Reports came in to the Snohomish County Sheriff's Department and Washington State Fish and Wildlife for a 10-foot-long ferocious man-eating gator! Was it really painted as a ferocious man-eating monster? Probably not, but I'd like to think so. This call came in for this 10-foot gator, and people were very freaked out. The Snohomish County Sheriff and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife were aware of the sighting, and they made a post about it on social media. That post was shared hundreds of times. When sheriffs and wildlife officials arrived, they were shocked to see it wasn't a gator at all.
