Groundbreaking For Sheldon High School Project To Be On August 5
Sheldon, Iowa — A groundbreaking ceremony for the work to be done at Sheldon High School has been planned for the first week of August. Sheldon Community School District Voters approved a 19-million-dollar bond issue in November for an addition and renovation project at Sheldon High School. School officials say the total project cost is $32.9 million and $19.16 million would come from the General Obligation (G.O.) Bond. District SAVE (statewide sales tax) funds are to be used to pay the remaining amount.
