Mayville Schools lands well-traveled principal
MAYVILLE — Mayville Community Schools is on a hot streak. Earlier this year the district hired Mike Seaman, then high school principal in Kingston, to be its assistant superintendent as well as the principal of the middle/high school. He fills a position that had been in the hands of fill-ins for the past year.

Dow gets $120 million from state to retain jobs around Midland
MIDLAND, Mich. (WJRT) - Dow will keep Mid-Michigan as its home for manufacturing, research and development thanks to a $120 million grant approved Tuesday. The Michigan Strategic Fund Board approved the grant aimed at retaining about 5,000 jobs at the Michigan Operations Industrial Park in Midland and the Auburn Operations facilities in neighboring Williams Township.
