Memphis dog park ranks as one of the top in the nation in new USA Today Best list

A Memphis dog park recently landed a spot as one of the best dog parks in the country.

The Outback at Shelby Farms Park in East Memphis was named as one of the best dog parks in the country in a recent USA TODAY list. The park is the only one from Tennessee named to the list.

USA TODAY wrote, "The Outback offers over 100 acres of open space for your pup. Along with miles of hiking and biking trails, there are a number of lakes if your pup fancies a dip."

The Outback is an off-leash park for four-legged friends to enjoy. You and your pups can enjoy lakes, trails, a water fountain and more at the park. Oh, there's even a washing station in case man's best friend needs to freshen up. Want to visit? Shelby Farms does ask that dogs brought to The Outback be responsive to verbal commands as there will be other dogs off-leash there.
