The Memphis Grizzlies are back in action on Monday for their summer league game against the Dallas Mavericks, and once again they'll be without their 2024 first-round pick.

Center Zach Edey, who has been dealing with ankle soreness, will miss his fourth straight summer league game. He played in the team's debut game in Salt Lake City and had a strong performance with 14 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks.

Edey left that game in the first half while dealing with ankle soreness, but he returned shortly after and finished the game. Including Monday, Memphis has three scheduled summer league games remaining, and the plan is still for Edey to return at some point.

Trey Jemison will continue to fill in at center. Jemison, who is on a two-way contract, has been an active defender and physical presence.

Edey's next chance to return will be on Wednesday when the Grizzlies play the Orlando Magic (6 p.m., ESPN+)
