Dangerous heat heading to the Mid-South this week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Do what you can to keep cool this week; the heat is back with a vengeance.

A Heat Advisory is in effect for Memphis and all of the Mid-South until 4 a.m. CT, Tuesday. An Excessive Heat Warning and Heat Advisory are in effect for Memphis and all of the Mid-South Tuesday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. CT.

It remains dangerously hot and humid tonight. Hazardous high heat and humidity will be here tomorrow and much of this week. This is the start of Memphis's newest heat wave.
