More rain expected throughout the weekend in the Mid-South

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Flash Flood Warnings in the Mid-South expired but we're not done with the rain just yet.

Showers are possible late Thursday night and throughout the day on Friday with nearly half of the Mid-South expected to see rain around 10 p.m.

Off-and-on showers will also blow through Saturday and Sunday. The greatest rain chance over the weekend comes Sunday evening when nearly 40 percent of the Mid-South will see some wet weather, though severe storms are not expected to materialize.

The heat returns when the rain moves out to start next week. High temperatures on Monday jump back into the 90s and, with no more rain in sight, they are expected to stay there throughout the week.
