MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Police Department is searching for the suspects responsible for robbing a man at a gas station on Highland earlier this month.

On July 11, just before 4 a.m., officers responded to the incident at the Valero gas station at 853 Highland Street.

Police say the victim got into his white 2016 Chrysler 200 and was about to leave the gas station when two men walked up to him, held him at gunpoint, and demanded he give them his car. The suspects then drove off in the Chrysler.

Police provided surveillance footage of the incident, which shows the men getting out of a silver or gold Chrysler sedan, walking over to the victim’s car, and pulling out of the parking lot with it, followed by the suspect’s vehicle.

The suspects later used the victim’s credit cards to purchase gas at the Sunoco gas station on South Perkins Road, reports say.

Neither of the vehicles has been located.
