    Stolen car hits police vehicle, MPD says; man detained

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was detained after officers say a stolen vehicle struck a police squad car Thursday afternoon in Whitehaven.

    According to Memphis Police, just before 12:50 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Webbway Drive regarding a suspicious vehicle call.

    That is when officers say they located a stolen vehicle. Police say their squad car was hit by the stolen vehicle.
