Stretch of dangerous hot temps begins as Mid-South under Excessive Heat Warning

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -An excessive heat warning remains in effect through 8pm Tuesday.

Another excessive heat warning goes into effect early on Wednesday and continues through the evening.

Highs will be in the middle to upper 90s with a heat index between 110-115 degrees. Highs will continue to be in the middle to upper 90s for the remainder of the 7-day forecast.

The dangerous heat and humidity will be here for the long haul.
