Three years after its 2022 update, the Lincoln Navigator gets an update for 2025. The range-topping SUV from Lincoln now has Nautilus-inspired styling, which entered its second generation in 2024 with a fresh look and improved interior quality as the major updates. Basically, the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus was luxurious like never before, and now that the new Lincoln Navigator is here, we expect it to be the same or even better. However, it remains unchanged under the hood, with a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 making 440 horsepower and 510 lb.ft standard across all models. What specific upgrades can we expect to see in the 2025 Lincoln Navigator?

Lighting Up The Front Fascia Must Be The New Trend

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator receives a series of subtle yet impactful design updates that enhance its already substantial presence. The most immediately noticeable change is the reimagined front fascia, featuring a larger, more intricately detailed grille that sits slightly lower, giving the Navigator a more assertive stance. This is complemented by slimmer LED headlights that stretch further towards the fenders, creating a cohesive and modern front-end design which is completed by a backlight Lincoln logo.

The rear of the 2025 Navigator also sees significant updates, with slimmer vertical focused taillights incorporating a seamless, full-width light bar. Additionally, the introduction of the new “Sunrise Copper” exterior color for the 2025 Navigator, along with a more intricate multi-spoke wheel design, sets it apart from the more conservative palettes of previous models. Lincoln’s approach to the 2025 Navigator is one of evolution rather than revolution, ensuring it stays relevant without pushing the envelope.

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator Gets A 48-inch Screen

Based on the teaser clips and the recent videos and photos released by Lincoln, it’s clear that the interior of the 2025 Navigator draws inspiration from the Lincoln Nautilus, like the exterior. One majorly noticeable update is the rotary knob on the center console, now featuring a diamond-style glass ring. Additionally, there’s a 48.0-inch full-width display on the dashboard lifted from the Nautilus. This replaces the 13.2-inch infotainment display found in previous models and is complemented by an 11.1-inch configurable display. Second-row passengers get dual 5.8-inch touchscreen displays as standard. These also serve as heated/ventilated seats and audio control panels if second-row audio and upgraded second-row seats are equipped.

    Tech Innovations

At the forefront of technology on the Navigator is Lincoln BlueCruise, a hands-free highway driving system that includes lane change assist, allowing for easy lane changes with just a tap of the turn signal, and in-lane repositioning, which subtly adjusts the vehicle's position for added safety. Another notable addition is the turn signal view, which projects a live camera feed of the adjacent lane onto the 48-inch panoramic display whenever the turn signal is engaged.

    Final Thoughts

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator builds on its 2022 update with subtle design enhancements and significant interior upgrades, including a 48-inch full-width display and advanced tech features like Lincoln BlueCruise. While it retains the same powerful 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, the Navigator's refreshed styling and modernized cabin ensure it stays competitive in the luxury SUV market without making drastic changes.
