Yung Gravy is a self-made rapper from Minnesota that has crafted quite the reputation for himself. From his music career to his "side missions" with Martha Stewart, Yung Gravy is no stranger to branching out in the world on a mission to beef up his resume.

His latest quest was announced through MLB's official 'X' account, and it will be a sight to behold come Thursday night. Yung Gravy signed an official contract through the MLB in conjunction with the St. Louis Cardinals to be a professional baseball player for one day only.

Yung Gravy is in St. Louis, Missouri as part of his tour, and he is set to perform at Ballpark Village on Thursday night. Thanks to the Cardinals however, he will be extending his presence in St. Louis to be part of the team.

His contract states that he will officially be tied as a loyal fan to the Cardinals, and that he will have access to the team facilities and amenities, just as a normal player would. Gravy will participate in batting practice and other pregame festivities, as well as have the opportunity to throw the ceremonial first pitch against the San Diego Padres.

This is not the first professional sports organization to "fangirl" over Yung Gravy.

The charismatic rapper also caught the eyes of the Tampa Bay Lightning, the National Hockey League team located in Tampa, Florida. As he sports in his Spotify biography , he was named the "unofficial second mascot" of the team.

Gravy's youthful exuberance has gotten him in the most interesting spotlights, and he doesn't seem to be slowing down. Gravy is very active through 'X' and posts all about his side quests.

His mantra of "Side quests only💯" is coming true through his actions, and although he has declared his loyalty to the St. Louis Cardinals, there is no doubt that Yung Gravy will make his mark through another professional organization soon.

The St. Louis Cardinals will face off against the San Diego Padres Thursday, Aug. 29 at 12:15 PM MST with their new player making his debut prior to the official start.
