APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - The global technology outage affecting airports, airlines, banks, hospitals, and other industries is being felt here in Northeast Wisconsin. Aurora BayCare is the only one reporting computer issues, but a dispatcher with the hospital tells us they don’t believe the issues are impacting patient care. Stories you might have missed from across Wisconsin. Ashwaubenon: Manure Spill being investigated. Put down your lunch until this story is over. The Wisconsin Department of Natural resources is investigating a manure spill that took place in Eastern Outagamie County and western Brown County. The spill resulted in a fish kill. Tuesday, the department was notified of manure in Dutchman Creek and then a staffer noticed dead fish in the creek. The source of the manure is unknown but the DNR and county Land Conservation are on scene looking into the issue. The DNR is recommending that people and pets avoid contact with Dutchman Creek. It’s EAA AirVenture week in Oshkosh and at least two of the city’s churches offer hospitality and more to visiting aviators, missionary pilots and tourists. The second floor of the Parish Center at the Sacred Heart site of St. Jude Parish is transformed into a “hotel” for visitors. The parish offers “a peaceful place to stay” and says it is known “for our homemade goodies for breakfast.” The variety of breakfast items, depending on the day, may include a hot dish, juice, fruit, bars and cookies.
