Bloomington Police Seek Public's Aid in Locating Suspect of Mall of America Hit and Run
The Bloomington Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run incident. The collision, which left an unoccupied vehicle damaged, transpired on the 5th of July, 2024, at the Mall of America east ramp at around 10:50 PM. According to a post made by the Bloomington Police Department, the driver was reportedly "driving recklessly" before hitting the parked vehicle.

Minneapolis tallied another shooting with at least three victims this week, the latest coming late Wednesday downtown on or near Nicollet Mall, officials said. The first of the three incidents occurred Sunday night, when three people were shot, one fatally, in the 2500 block of Central Avenue NE., just north of Lowry Avenue, according to police. Christopher D. Thurmond, 32, of Maplewood, was identified as the person who was killed.
