Airlines pause flights following worldwide, multi-industry technology outages
MINNEAPOLIS — Several major U.S. airlines have temporarily halted departures Friday morning as a widespread technology outage affected multiple industries worldwide. "All Delta flights are paused as we work through a vendor technology issue," Delta posted on X. "Any customers whose flights are impacted will be notified by Delta via the Fly Delta app and text message. Customers should use the Fly Delta app for updates."
