Chick-fil-A Announces the Return of Two Fan-Favorite Menu Items

Chick-fil-A is best known today for their chicken nuggets and strawberry milkshakes , but two other chicken and milkshake items that have been a hit with fans in the past are now taking the spotlight.

On Aug. 12, the fast food chain announced that it was bringing back the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich that was sold for a limited time last year. In addition, they'll be offering an option with a kick with the Spicy Honey Pepper Pimento Cheese Sandwich.

"When we released the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich last fall, not only did we receive overwhelmingly positive feedback, but we also saw our guests making their own unique twists by swapping the original filet for the spicy filet. They inspired us to officially offer a spicy version as its own menu item, and we are thrilled to deliver what we know our guests want more of!" Chick-fil-A chef Stuart Tracy said in a statement .

That's not all. The fan-favorite Banana Pudding Milkshake, which first debuted back in 2011, is coming back to menus nationwide. Additionally, customers will be able to try the all-new Banana Frosted Coffee, which combines cold-brew coffee , Chick-fil-A's signature ice cream dessert, real bananas, and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles.

"Every decision we make regarding our menu is extremely intentional," Chick-fil-A menu and packaging director Allison Duncan said. "While our core products are what our guests know and love us for, we also like to keep variety and innovation top of mind. Whether we are surprising our guests with new flavors and offerings or taking classic items and bringing them back with a twist, each menu introduction is made after listening to their needs. We’re thrilled to be able to bring back two of our most popular picks this season."

The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich and Spicy Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich will be available for a limited time starting Aug. 26. Enjoy a Banana Pudding Milkshake as a sweet treat afterward, or get your post-lunch caffeine kick with the Banana Frosted Coffee.
