'White Lotus' Star Reveals Eye-Popping Hotel Bill From Filming

The highly anticipated third season of The White Lotus will bring viewers into another location of the luxurious White Lotus hotel, this time in Thailand . The cast members stayed at their swanky accommodations while filming, but that doesn't mean that everything was comped.

Fallout star Walton Goggins is a part of the upcoming season. As in previous seasons, the show was filmed at a Four Seasons resort, this time at the Four Seasons Koh Samui.

Goggins stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Aug. 12 and spoke a bit about the upcoming project. He couldn't say too much about his character or the story, but he did reveal that he racked up quite a bill during his stay.

“You get to stay at a five-star [hotel] , but what they don’t tell you when you when you check into the White Lotus is how expensive it is to check out of the White Lotus,” he said. "You don’t have to pay for your room, thank God, but you had to pay for your incidentals."

“I swear this is a true story—not just for me [but] for everybody—six weeks into it, I go to pay my bill," he remembered. "I looked at my bill and I started laughing. Literally, he handed me the bill and I started laughing like, ‘Ha, yeah right! You guys are joking.'"

Goggins couldn't believe it was real at first. "'You’re telling me Thai spiced cashews cost that much money?'" he asked the hotel staff. "I thought I had maybe, like, five. And they said, 'No, you had 30.'" He didn't reveal how much he owed in total, but noted he paid $150 for a bottle of prosecco.

The third season of The White Lotus arrives in 2025.
