Warsaw Man Arrested On Weapon Charges
A Warsaw man was arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at work crew members on Packerton Road. Michael Curtis Hayden Miller, 47, of 2078 S. Packerton Road, Warsaw, is charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony; pointing a firearm, a level 6 felony; and criminal recklessness, a level 6 felony.
Nappanee teen not to be charged with initial charges
A Nappanee teen initially charged with causing death when operating a vehicle while intoxicated will not be charged with that charge. The crash happened in Nappanee on October 15 when reports say a vehicle, driven by Solano Cruz, crossed the center line and drove into the pathway of a transit van heading south.

WARSAW — A Winona Lake man was arrested for allegedly battering a person at a Warsaw restaurant. Daniel Hugo Duenas-Duron, 26, 2326 E. Pierceton Road, Winona Lake, is charged with battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, intimidation, and possession of methamphetamine, all level 6 felonies; interference with the reporting of a crime and battery, both class A misdemeanors; criminal mischief and possession of marijuana, both class B misdemeanors; and possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor.
