Man pleads guilty to dealing methamphetamine laced with insecticide
LOGANSPORT – Prosecutor Noah Schafer announced that Lonnie Pope Jr, 56, of Logansport, pled guilty in Cass Circuit Court on Monday to Dealing in Methamphetamine as a Level 2 Felony and to being a Habitual Offender. Pope had been scheduled to begin a jury trial that morning but opted to admit to all charges in lieu of a trial.
Indiana man wanted for kidnapping and rape apprehended in Simpson County
FRANKLIN, Ky. – A man wanted out of Indiana is facing multiple charges after a pursuit led to his arrest in Simpson County. On Tuesday, July 23 around 9 a.m., the Kentucky State Police says it received a call from Marion County, Indiana law enforcement requesting assistance to locate Cody Ray Medsker, 28, of New Castle, Indiana.

Indiana Man Injured in I-30 Shootout with Arkansas State Police
Hope, AR – An Indiana man was injured after allegedly fleeing from and firing on Arkansas State Police Troopers on Interstate 30 on Monday. According to the Arkansas State Police, the incident began at approximately 10:10 p.m. near the Hempstead/Nevada County line. Troopers pursued the suspect, identified as Joshua Harrison, 43, of Richmond, Indiana, who allegedly fired shots at them near the 36-mile marker. Troopers returned fire and performed a tactical vehicle intervention near the 35-mile marker, causing Harrison’s vehicle to cross the median and be struck by an eastbound tractor trailer.
