Ivy Tech FW/Warsaw named a 2024 Metallica Scholars College
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A local community college is getting a boost from a very well-known metal band. Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne and Warsaw is one of 18 community colleges nationwide joining the Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI) this year. Indiana Man Injured in I-30 Shootout with Arkansas State Police
Hope, AR – An Indiana man was injured after allegedly fleeing from and firing on Arkansas State Police Troopers on Interstate 30 on Monday. According to the Arkansas State Police, the incident began at approximately 10:10 p.m. near the Hempstead/Nevada County line. Troopers pursued the suspect, identified as Joshua Harrison, 43, of Richmond, Indiana, who allegedly fired shots at them near the 36-mile marker. Troopers returned fire and performed a tactical vehicle intervention near the 35-mile marker, causing Harrison’s vehicle to cross the median and be struck by an eastbound tractor trailer.
