    Mississippi inmate dies after being found unresponsive

    MERIDIAN, Miss. ( WJTV ) – An inmate at the East Mississippi Correctional Facility in Meridian has died after being found unresponsive.

    The Natchez Democrat reported 39-year-old William Hill, of Fayette, was found unresponsive in his cell on Saturday, July 13. Officials said facility medical staff performed chest compresses and administered an automated external defibrillator.

    Warren County mother sentenced in son’s death

    Hill was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to officials.

    Hill was sentenced in September 2016 in Adams County to 10 years for robbery and five years for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
