    The Bosque County Clerk’s office released the unofficial results of the partisan political party primary elections on Wednesday, March 6.

    During the two-week-long voting period, voter turnout in both the Republican and Democratic Parties’ primaries was 30.23 percent, the county clerk reported.

    There were 13,247 registered voters across 11 voting precincts for the primary elections in Bosque County, the report said.

    In the county, eligible voters cast 4,005 ballots total; 3,727 ballots were cast in the Republican Party primary, and 278 ballots cast in the Democratic Party primary, the report said.

    The unofficial results of the Republican and Democratic primary elections in Bosque County are as follows:

    Republican Primary President

    Donald J. Trump – 3,121 votes, 83 percent.

    Nikki Haley – 433 votes, 11.62 percent. Uncommitted – 89 votes, 2.39 percent. Ron DeSantis – 37 votes, .99 percent. Vivik Ramaswamy – 10 votes, .27 percent.

    Ryan L. Binkley – 8 votes, .21 percent. Chris Christie – six votes, .16 percent. David Stuckenberg – three votes, .08 percent.

    U.S. Senator

    Ted Cruz – 3.308 votes, 88.76 percent.

    Holland Gibson – 185 votes, 4.96 percent.

    R.E. Lopez – 108 votes, 2.90 percent.

    U.S. Representative District 31

    John Carter – 2,139 votes, 57.39 percent.

    Mike Williams – 379 votes, 10.17 percent.

    Mack Latimer – 227 votes, 6.09 percent. William Abel – 193 percent, 5.18 percent.

    John Carnan Anderson – 183 votes, 4.91 percent.

    Abhiram Gerapati – 146 votes, 3.92 percent.

    Christi Craddick – 1,233 votes, 33.08 percent.

    James Matlock – 1,077 votes, 28.90 percent.

    Christie Clark – 458 votes, 12.29 percent.
