The Meridian Parks and Recreation is seeking three new board members to pursue its projects and activities this year.

The board meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month at the Old Library/Senior Center in Meridian.

During the Meridian City Council meeting last Monday, board member Trey Finch reported that the Bosque Market for Farmers & Artisans is also in transition.

Starting this summer, the market will be open seasonally at the Chisholm Trail Plaza with additional dates to be determined in the fall and Christmas times.

The change is due to a low response from vendors to an online survey and application this past month.
