Severe thunderstorms leave thousands of New Hampshire residents without power
KEENE, N.H. — Severe thunderstorms swept through New Hampshire Tuesday, causing extensive damage to homes and leaving thousands without power. Areas in Southern and Central New Hampshire, including Milford and Keene, were particularly affected. Strong winds toppled trees and power lines, causing some to evacuate from homes deemed unsafe.

The hearing was originally continued to 8/7/2024. The special meeting was not posted on the Town calendar nor emailed to those on the Planning Board notification list. The agenda was posted to the planning Board page on 7/16/2024 and revised on 7/16/2024 and 7/17/2024. Normally Public Hearings are posted with at least a seven day notice.
