The Tuscola County Fair, a tradition for more than 140 years, continues from today through Saturday night.
Offer on Bay City’s State Theatre accepted, but sale yet to go through
BAY CITY, MI – A more than $600,000 offer to purchase the historic State Theatre in downtown Bay City has been accepted, but only time will tell if the sale goes through. James A. White submitted a $630,000 cash offer with no contingencies, according to federal court records. The offer was accepted by the trustee appointed by bankruptcy court to take control of the theater and to sell or distribute its assets. The offer was accepted July 17.
