The St. Francis Xavier University men’s hockey program has announced that Saginaw Spirit graduate and 2024 Memorial Cup champion Alex Christopoulos has committed for the 2024-25 season. Tuscola native killed after breaking into home
ORION TWP. — Police say a native of the town of Tuscola, in Tuscola County, was shot and killed Wednesday after trying to kill his ex-girlfriend. Galen Gavit, 67, of Unionville, was shot in the head by his ex-girlfriend’s stepson after Gavit – carrying a .38-caliber revolver – broke into a home in Oakland County’s Orion Township.
