Kinsman couple: Judging dairy is more than cows
KINSMAN — Lifelong 4-Hers Richard and Deb Owen believe there is more to the Dairy 4-H Club and dairy judging than the cows. Richard, 71, initially brought dairy judging to Trumbull County, and he, along with his wife, Deb, 66, took the initiative to start the Dairy 4-H Club about 28 years ago. They continue to run the Dairy 4-H Club as lead advisors and have 12 judges competing in this year’s fair.
