Sharon Waterfire Fest kicks off Saturday, here's everything you need to know before you go
The Sharon Waterfire Festival is almost here with the festivities kicking off Saturday, July 27. Here's everything you need to know before you go. The festivities begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and will last until 11:00 p.m. This year's fest will consist of vendors, a food court, a children's fun zone, a blessing of the Shenango River courtesy of Native American Leon Briggs, a fire show courtesy of Jimmy Pyro and of course plenty of live music on the main stage.

Family escapes house fire in North Jackson
JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A family of five is without a home after their house caught fire in North Jackson. The fire started around 3 a.m. on Glenside Drive. One family member claims someone set their car on fire, which caused the house to go up in flames soon after. However, Jackson Fire has not determined the motive or what caused the fire.
