Embracing the transition: Preparing for a new school year
As summer begins to fade and autumn approaches, a familiar transition period enters our lives. For our family, the end of summer signals the beginning of a new school year, a time filled with anticipation, excitement and, sometimes, a bit of apprehension. As Catholic parents, my wife and I strive to guide our four children through this transition smoothly, grounding our efforts in faith and practical preparation.
The Past Four Years In The Music Department
After all of the music department’s hard work these past four years, it is unfortunately time to say goodbye to the seniors. The seniors in the music program at MHS have not had a smooth high school experience, considering the effects of COVID-19 on in-person learning and musical opportunities. Dominican juniors garner college book awards
Fifteen St. Mary’s Dominican High School juniors were presented book awards from universities and colleges to celebrate achievements of the junior class. The annual book awards are in recognition of academic excellence, strong character and commitment to community service.
